The inception of the National Ballet of Denver began with the meeting and consensus of the two co-founders, Cornell Callender and Andrei Vassiliev. Both extraordinary performers, they used their international prestige in the ballet community, and years of training to found a company which provides for the study and promotion of classical ballet. They recognized Denver as a city almost unparalleled in its appreciation and support of the arts. Denver's richness in young talent and its educated audience makes it the perfect city to sustain their strong vision. Their aim was to develop a very strong classical ballet school and company to bring a rich classical repertory to the public who truly appreciate the classics. Get your tickets today and watch these beautiful artists from the National Ballet of Denver perform their breathtaking dance routines on our very own stage at the Pikes Peak Center!
