Stargazers Theatre is pleased to welcome back A New Brain For Arnie to our stage. A New Brain For Arnie is a 100% improvisational band combining the creative dynamics of jazz with the sensibilities of rock. Their genre could best be described as Jazz, Rock, Jam Rock and Jamband all rolled into one.
A New Brain For Arnie was founded by Kim Stone, Bassist. Having achieved multiple Grammy nominations with Spyro Gyra and Rare Silk, Stone has also performed and recorded with many other notable artists. These include, B.B. King, Hugh Ragin, The Rippingtons, David Amram, Larry Carlton, Eric Marienthal, Rob Mullins, Jessica Williams, and Firefall. His extensive performing experience includes multiple appearances at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival, North Seas Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Kool Jazz Festival, JVC Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, and others; as well as, numerous nationwide tours of the U.S., Europe, and Southeast Asia.
