Join us October 2, 2010 for Cheyenne Mountain State Park's No Child Left Inside Day, from 10:00 – 2:00. We're hosting children of all ages who want to play and explore with grass under their feet, sky overhead and nature in their hands. Diana Miller will teach us about raptors with her live Birds of Prey from the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo. DOW Archery Instructor, Steve Lucero, will give lessons on how to use a bow and arrow. Try your hand at roping with Cowboy Dave Overlin, and enjoy Geocaching, nature activities, games, crafts and some history of the park!
