Star Bar announces the opening production of our 2010 - 2011 Season, Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot!

Pass the time with Didi and Gogo in the original show about nothing; they cover everything from footwear to flatulence in this uproarious, dolorous reflection on the ridiculous dignity of the human condition, the elusive nature of meaning and the oft-excruciating ennui of existence. Beckett’s quintessential work exquisitely articulates the desolate hilarity of the quest for relevance in a cryptic universe. Will Godot ever come – and even if he does, will it matter?

Spearheaded by Star Bar's artistic director Alysabeth Clements Mosley as well as three heavy-hitting guest-directors, Cory Moosman (WYNOT Radio Theatre), Drew Martorella (TheatreWorks) and Brian Mann (Theatre d‘Art), this production of one of the definitive masterpieces of English-speaking theatre features Joseph Forbeck and Steve Wallace as Vladimir and Estragon, Dylan Mosley as Pozzo, Sammy Gleason as Lucky and likely young novice A. Lanning as The Boy.
