The public is invited to join PPCC students, faculty and alumni for a booksigning with Marie Jackson, former PPCC student and author of Cries of a Black Sheep.

Marie Jackson is a living miracle. She has spent her life learning how to survive and overcome the many damaging effects of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, both as a child and an adult. She has also overcome alcohol and drug- addiction, the streets, and has taught herself how to fit back into society and live a healthy, productive life. Now, Marie has devoted her life to sharing her lessons and experiences with youth and women of all ages who have suffered abuse. Her passion for helping others comes straight from the heart, while her no- nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is style connects instantly with individuals who have traveled similar paths.
