    As part of the 2010-2011 Colorado College State of the Rockies Project Speaker Series, titled, “Are Our Forests Dying: Forest Health in the Rockies,” Jan Burke and Tony Dixon will give the third lecture, “The White is Turning Red: Case Study of the White River National Forest.” Tony Dixon is the Deputy Regional Forester of the Rocky Mountain Region and Jan Burke is the Forest Health Coordinator for the White River National Forest. Their talk stems from their many years of experience working for the U.S. Forest Service in Colorado and examines the White River National Forest in Northwestern Colorado.
