Southern Colorado’s best-loved holiday tradition followed by a buffet of sweets and treats for all! It's the 7th annual production of the Colorado Youth Ballet's special presentation of Tchaikovsky's beloved Nutcracker, a presentation that always sells out. The performance is totally family friendly: one hour of choice moments from the Ballet featuring the award-winning dancers of the Youth Ballet-- the performing ensemble of Ballet Society of Colorado Springs. Tchaikovsky (performed by local actor and arts enthusiast David Sckolnik) is back to host the festivities. But this year, there's magic to behold! Uncle Drosselmeyer (performed by local actor, singer, dancer AND magician Erik Bryan) will astound the audience with tricks and illusions sure to amaze all in attendance. And after the ballet- all are invited to a glorious and delicious Holiday Tea abounding with sweets of all kinds! An additional performance has been added this year, but be sure to order your tickets as soon as possible to guarantee a seat!
