WWII Film Festival: Bridge on the River Kwai

To coincide with the So Far From Home: The American POW Experience in WWII and the Don't Fence Me In: German POWs at Camp Carson exhibits, The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum will host a series of vintage WWII films and a documentary based on a true story at Stargazers Theatre.
The third film in the series is "Bridge On The River Kwai" (1957) starring Alec Guiness and Sessue Hayakawa will be shown. This story follows the man from a Japanese POW camp and his attempt to build a railway bridge for the captors.
The upcoming films in the series are:
Monday, February 7, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. Coming Home Alive (2006), true story of Rishel "Rick" White, POW in Germany
Monday, March 7, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. The Incident (1990), starring Walter Matthau, Harry Morgan, filmed at CSPM!
Monday, April 4, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), starring Myrna Loy, Frederick March
