“A New Brain for Arnie” is led by bassist Kim Stone, (Spyro Gyra, Rippingtons and Firefall), & L.A. Music Award Winner Guitar Virtuoso Michael Reese. Together they are one of the purest and unique forms of a Jam band in the world today. Complete Improvisation is the mandate of this band, with melodic motives and on the spot arrangements. "A New Brain for Arnie" has been performing and recording for almost 5 years, making their improvisational sensibilities quite complete with a demographic following from 15-70+.
Their unique style can be described as acid jazz, jam band and funk all rolled into one. The group started this project a few years back with the direction of total free form improvisation. No show is ever the same or can be duplicated. Nothing is written and is totally created in the moment. Please come out and enjoy the incredible style of “A New Brain for Arnie.”
