Rupture
January 27-March 18, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Rupture features new installation work incorporating sound and performance from Kay Swiss, Jenny LeBlanc, and Claire Rau. Each piece will take on a discussion of the relationship between man and nature in terms of physical pressure on a surface, via the spew of lava and ash from a volcano, floating smut of an oil slick, and bodily functions.
Rupture will trace its activity through accumulation and stains, using a variety of printmaking processes incorporating the simple idea of the gallery floor as sea level.
