Willie "Big Eyes" Smith played drums for the legendary blues man Muddy Waters for many years. He has been nominated (along with fellow Muddy Waters alum Pinetop Perkins) for a Grammy for their CD, "Joined at the Hip," in the category of Best Traditional Blues Album.
