Opera Theatre of the Rockies continues its popular series of special presentations that set the stage for their annual Pikes Peak Center Grand Opera presentation. Shave and a Haircut: The Barber of Seville Sessions consists of six scheduled events inspired by the Rossini masterpiece. Each highlights different aspects that have contributed in making this one of the world’s most beloved operas.
For the fourth event, the scene shifts south to the Broadmoor Community Church Auditorium where the opera’s seven principal performers- James Baumgardner, Jennifer DeDominici, Lee Gregory, Kevin Glavin, Sarah Barber, Andrew Harris, Ted Reedy, Regina Davis, and Bradley Thompson- will be showcased in a concert of arias, songs and ensembles accompanied on piano by Opera Theatre’s Music Director Daniel Brink.
