Bighorn Sheep Day - 6th Annual

Celebrate and experience Colorado’s state mammal – the rocky mountain bighorn sheep! Participate in guided walks, scavenger hunts, and children’s activities. Attend bighorn and other wildlife presentations, utilize the free shuttle service to wildlife lookout stations. Scopes and binoculars will be available to search for bighorn sheep and other animals along the wildlife corridor at Garden of the Gods Park.

Free youth craft activities, cookies, cider, and door prizes at every show!

10:30 a.m. - Children’s Program - Wildlife of the Rocky Mountains
11:30 a.m. - Bighorn Biology Presentation (followed by a radio collar scavenger hunt)
1:00 p.m. - Cheyenne Mountain Zoo presents – Zooperheros – live animal presentations
2:00 p.m. - Bighorn Sheep Society Presents
