    Manitou Springs Chick Crawl is happy to announce their 2011 schedule and a new partnership with Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. After a successful series of crawls in 2010, Chick Crawl has expanded to five total crawls in Manitou Springs for 2011.  This will be the first of the year.
    Additionally, Chick Crawl chose a non-profit partner for 2011. “Once we began the search for a non-profit to team up with Chick Crawl, we were approached by so many wonderful organizations, said Sara Keller, founder of Chick Crawl. “In the end, we felt that Care and Share was a great match for Chick Crawl and we feel strongly that reducing hunger in southern Colorado is a good, long-term community investment.”
    The non-profit also recognized the partnership as a good fit. "We are delighted to be the beneficiary of Chick Crawl's 2011 events," said Lori Kapu, Chief Operations Officer for Care and Share. "We are fortunate to be part of such a generous and creative event and we are looking forward to working with them over the coming year."
    During 2010, the Manitou Springs Chick Crawls consistently sold out, sometimes as early as two weeks in advance of the event. In order to accommodate more participants, in 2011 the Manitou Springs Chick Crawls will have both afternoon and evening crawls available.
    Both afternoon and evening crawls will feature Manitou shops, wineries, and restaurants that have earned the “Chick Crawl Seal of Approval” for distinctive offerings and excellent customer service. The Cliff House of Pikes Peak will continue the tradition of hosting all participants at the end of each crawl in their Red Mountain Bar and Grill.
    Chick Crawl was founded in 2008, and has led more than 1,000 women through multiple events across numerous retail districts. The mission of Chick Crawl is to strengthen and enhance communities by creating lasting relationships between local merchants and participants through high quality guided shopping experiences that showcase distinctive products and provide exemplary customer service.
