Experience the exhilaration of the 1950’s as local Young Chautauqua scholars transform into iconic characters from that bygone era of poodle skirts and ponytails ~ civil rights and space exploration.
Our student participants will amaze you with their authenticity and knowledge ~ the result of a 6-week intensive course developed by the nationally-acclaimed Young Chautauqua program. Each student has been immersed in his/her character through classes, art, music, dance, theater, lectures and conversation.
Do you have a burning question for Albert Einstein or Marilyn Monroe? General George MacArthur or Richie Valens? Join us for a fact-filled, fun-filled, family experience.
The rich tradition of the Chautauqua movement is being brought to El Paso County for the first time ever, through the collaboration of Colorado Humanities, the Colorado Springs Conservatory, Pioneers Museum, District 11 Galileo School of Math and Science and the Pikes Peak Library District.
