Add Review/Comment
Stargazers Theatre is proud to host an evening with Janis Ian -- legendary award-winning singer/songwriter, poet, advocate, and national treasure.
Reviewers have called her live performances “overwhelming to the spirit and soul” and “drenched with such passion, the audience feels they’ve been swept up in a hurricane.”
Along with her many well-known musical hits, such as "At Seventeen," she has written 46 musical scores for television, commercial, and film projects, as well as two books. "Society’s Child: My Autobiography" was deemed “hugely readable” by "O Magazine," and "Booklist" called it “painfully candid and hard to put down”. Her writing talent has even earned her fans from the science fiction community for her anthology "Stars," which "Publisher’s Weekly" called a “dazzling, highly original anthology”.
