Ballet Magnificat!’s Omega Company is returning to Colorado Springs with the critically acclaimed ballet, Hiding Place. Corrie ten Boom, whose story was first made famous through the book and motion picture titled, ‘The Hiding Place’, was the only one of her family to survive detention in Ravensbruck Concentration Camp. The ten Boom family was imprisoned in the 1940’s during World War II, for assisting the Dutch Underground by hiding and smuggling Jews to freedom from Hitler’s Nazis.

Ballet Society of Colorado Springs is sponsoring this event. This inspirational ballet has toured three continents and espouses the virtues of hope in the face of suffering. Even the most horrific events caused by the Nazis are handled sensitively, with breathtaking creativity making it a safe presentation for the whole family to experience.
