Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District will be awarding the Frank Waters Award to Colorado's premier nature photographer, John Fielder. Fielder will give a presentation about his latest publication, Ranches of Colorado. A signed print by Fielder valued at $1,000 will be raffled at the event.
The Frank Waters Award is presented each year by the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District to recognize and celebrate a lifetime of outstanding literary achievement with special emphasis on literature that reflects the spirit and achievement of Frank Waters, a native of Colorado Springs and the first recipient of the award in 1993.
