    The economics and business department seminar series presents a lecture by David Popp, associate professor of public administration at Syracuse University. Popp will discuss “Where Does Energy R and D Come From? Examining Crowding Out From Environmentally Friendly R and D.”
    Popp is an economist with research interests in environmental policy and the economics of technological change. He is particularly interested in how environmental and energy policies shape the development of new technologies that may be relevant for combating climate change. His work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy, and has been published in a variety of economics and policy journals, including American Economic Revue and Journal of Environmental Economics and Management..
