The 32nd Annual Arts Business Education Consortium Awards Luncheon will feature the Master of Ceremonies, the Mayor of Colorado Springs, Lionel Rivera.
This year’s Keynote Speaker is Karol Gates and the title of her presentation is “Celebrating Colorado’s Collaborative Creativity”. Karol Gates is the Content Specialist for the Arts in the Colorado Department of Education. Karol grew up in Colorado Springs and her love for the arts began when she attended Palmer High School where she received a scholarship for a Bachelor of Music Degree to attend the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Opera Theater.
Awards of recognition for innovative arts education programs, excellence in teaching, administration and business support of the arts will be presented at this annual awards luncheon. The Pikes Peak Arts council, The Bee Vradenburg Foundation, and The Colorado Springs Business Journal also presents awards. The Colorado Chamber of Commerce will present the Unique Project Award. “Arts Education is Everyone’s Business”.
