Pakistani-born guitar virtuoso and composer Mir Ali conducts a master class that will leave guitar students inspired and enthused. Mir is a highly motivated and engaging teacher who coaches his students with sensitivity, insight and an irresistible sense of humor. He serves as Director of the Amherst School of Guitar and has been President of the Buffalo Guitar Society and Artistic Director of the Rantucci International Guitar Festival and Competition for the past 15 years. Mir will be coaching individual guitarists as well as any chamber ensemble in a public setting. If time allows, he will give a lecture/demonstration on either technique, Flamenco or Classical Guitar, as well as answer questions about being on the road as a musician and the various career choices that a musician has.
