How do you greet someone in Mandarin Chinese? How do you order your dish in a restaurant? These and other topics, such as family life, days and time, eating out, shopping, transportation and seeing a doctor, will be the focus of this basic conversation skills class. Students will learn to recognize 200 characters and write 100 of those. No previous knowledge of Chinese necessary.
Instructor Fanny Zhang is a native Chinese speaker who received her primary and college education in China. She has been a faculty member at Colorado College since 1997.
