"Becoming Animal" Work by Pauline Foss

Through her artwork, Pauline Foss addresses the issues of the relationship between humans and livestock and the relationship between humans and predator and prey. Non-humans have suffered from dominionism and anthropocentric profiling since ancient times and the tradition continues to this day. She presents her statements in large scale, mixed media drawings that contain subtle references to enduring philosophies and attitudes.
There will be a special opening reception on Friday, April 22nd at 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
