    You are personally invited to Commonwheel’s first Garden Party!! Colorado Springs artists Deb Bartos and Mo Morrow celebrate the awakening swell-spring of new life, which has the power to break open stones and bring a rainbow to the end of winter’s storms! Deb’s oil paintings capture the sublime in fresh florals and intimate garden landscapes, while Mo’s polymer clay jewelry adorns for festive occasions. Immerse yourself in a cacophony of color and a symphony of form to inspire you to plant your own inner garden!
    Opening Reception on Friday, May 20, from 5 – 8 p.m.

    Deb Bartos paints as a response to colorful harmony in the natural world. Florals and gardens are some of her favorites. Painting on location, she captures moments in time. Sharing this adventure with viewers and collectors, her work reminders us to keep looking for wonder and beauty, as it is the best gift to the soul.

    Mo Morrow creates gorgeous jewelry in polymer clay.  Keeping with the quilting tradition, she draws colors from the natural world, juxtaposing tones of local rock formations with riotous palettes of seasonal wildflowers and cultivated garden spaces. These elements keep her keen to the gift of co-creating with the present moment.
