A good finish comes from great start. The first decisions you make are the most important and usually receive the least thought. Capturing the dynamics of a pose requires seeing and understanding the underlying forms and the relationship of those forms to each other.
One must be able to see the gestural movement and feel the weight and balance of the pose in order to draw with boldness, spontaneity and believability.
Proportion, anatomy and perspective come into play only after we have an understanding of the pose and its relationship to the space it will occupy.
We will explore multiple approaches and materials and work with each individual to expand their understanding of the drawing process.
