This enjoyable, highly informative, and productive class taught by master oil painter Scott Mattlin will be open to all students with just a bit of painting experience as well as more advanced students.
Scott's classes involve working from photographs as he does , taking a step-by-step approach to painting lush, loose figures with beautiful light contrasts and the use of thick, juicy paint to create amazing surface textures. Students will come away from this workshop with at least one completed painting. For those of you who have been frustrated with your work, or intimidated by the idea of taking a workshop with more experienced painters this is the class for you. Scott is a warm, patient, and good-humored instructor. Scott welcomes all questions and will offer hands-on help for those who wish.
