Add Review/Comment
One of Colorado's most popular performers, with a string of "Best of" awards from a variety of sources (including so many from Westword that they put her in their Hall of Fame), Wendy Woo has earned these recognitions both as a songwriter and as a musician. Eight albums into her career, she is still creating audience-pleasing music that has spanned a variety of genres including folk, jazz, blues, funk, rock, and pop. This depth of material has allowed Woo the versatility to play some of the country's most popular venues, including the Hotel Cafe in LA; the Bitter End and the Living Room in New York City; the Lizard Lounge in the Boston area; the Bluebird Caf in Nashville; Jammin' Java in the DC area; Eddie's Attic in the Atlanta area; and Red Rocks, the Fillmore, and the Fox in Colorado. Her solo concerts draw upon her deep catalog of songs and are performed with an intimacy and optimism that comforts and inspires the soul.
