The Chamber Orchestra’s annual garden party at beautiful Hillside Gardens, which sold out last year, will feature some of our finest local wind players. Always a favorite, virtuoso flautist Paul Nagem performs his lightning-fast finale from C.P.E. Bach’s Flute Concerto in D Minor. Ian Buckspan, a favorite soloist with the Chamber Orchestra, is joined by fellow clarinetist Sergei Vassiliev for the rarely-heard Mendelssohn Concert Piece No. 2, and the Chamber Orchestra celebrates outdoor music with Handel’s Water Music and the rollicking finale from Haydn’s Hunting Symphony. It’s a fun and light program, perfect for a beautiful summer evening in the gardens

Start the evening with food provided by Blue Sage Catering (menu) and music of small ensembles consisting of members and friends of the COS. Small ensembles will play at the bridal cottage, under the main pavilion, in the pottery area, and other locations in the nursery. The concert will follow.
The proceeds of this concert will directly benefit the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and their members. Food will be catered by Blue Sage Catering and a bar (at extra cost) will also be available.
Come support your chamber orchestra while enjoying food, drink, music and these beautiful gardens!
