Viewpoints: What is the Chair Project Really About?
The Chair Project art installation, placing 1,000 chairs down the middle of Manitou Avenue, is scheduled to take place in early October 2011. At this public forum, educators, politicians, art experts and Manitou residents will address issues raised by attempting to create community-based art and how Manitou may be affected in the short and long term. The program will include a public question and answer period. Public participation is encouraged.
