    The internationally-acclaimed Gonzalo Bergara Quartet is an act not to be missed! Heavily influenced by Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, traditional jazz, and hints of music from his native Buenos Aires, this tightly knit quartet provides a captivating evening of sizzling musical virtuosity. Opening the show will be locally-grown, globally-known Gypsy Jazz group, Mango fan Django. Gonzalo Bergara Quartet’s first CD Portena Soledad was an Editor’s Pick by Guitar Player Magazine, and Vintage Guitar Magazine called it a masterpiece. Los Angeles Magazine selected the quartet as the Best Jazz Group in Los Angeles in their Best of LA issue.

    The Gonzalo Bergara Quartet has played throughout Europe and North and South America. amazing audiences with concert performances at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, Sweet and Hot Jazz Festival, and countless Django Reinhardt festivals including Djangofests Northwest, San Fransciso, Colorado, and Samois, France.
