The Indy Music Awards festival was created to give local bands & performers the chance to showcase their talent to local bar owners, music producers, music promoters & other active members of the southern Colorado music scene & to celebrate live music in our community.

The Colorado Springs Independent will host its inaugural Indy Music Awards, featuring the winners of the first community wide vote. The Independent will announce the winners of the IMAs & festival lineup on Sept. 1 for the Sept. 8 festival. Come hear the BEST MUSICIANS in our area, as voted by Southern Colorado locals, perform live on several indoor/outdoor stages at the massive, free 2011 Indy Music Awards Festival!
