A Cabaret Event to Support Youth Arts and Creativity!!!
The Old Tribe Theater Project announces a show for the benefit of FutureSelf, a local non-profit that is dedicated to the empowerment of youth through the arts, developing confidence and the skills to realize their full potential.

The show, entitled Love: It's Complicated, is a cabaret style show featuring many contemporary and classic Broadway hits performed by local artists. It takes a lighthearted approach to tell the story of friends, lovers, and the difficulty of putting on a charity show.

      If you get the opportunity to hear Joe Mikolaj sing, you will remember it for the rest of your life! His talent and discipline (Masters in Music from Yale) make his performances inspirational. I saw Ben Mikolaj perform as Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and it was such an amazing experience, I have never forgotten it! His natural ability on stage combined with his voice (a powerful voice that will leave you wanting to hear more) make his performances a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Seriously, these two performers should be on the national scene! Collapse

      I've had a chance to look over the song list for this show and if you are a Broadway fan you will be very happy. There are some very popular crowd pleasers from Rent, Wicked, Anything Goes, Avenue Q,... Expand

      I've had a chance to look over the song list for this show and if you are a Broadway fan you will be very happy. There are some very popular crowd pleasers from Rent, Wicked, Anything Goes, Avenue Q, and even Chess. There are also songs that are, in my opinion, some of the greatest songs on Broadway but lesser known, like Stars and the Moon from Songs for a New World. I can't wait to go next weekend. Collapse

I have seen him in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat at the Colorado Springs FAC and can't wait to see him starring again in this Cabaret. I know I am a little biased, but I've been all around the country and heard lots of performers on and off Broadway and he is still one of my favorite. Collapse
