Our hardwood stage will be your dance floor. “Dick Cunico’s Little Big Band” will keep feet flashing with tunes for many diverse dance styles including *the Fox Trot, *country line dance, *East Coast Swing, *the Tango, *Salsa, *Country 2-step, *Rock and Roll, *Cha Cha, *ballad slow dance, *the Jitterbug, *R & B, *the waltz, *country 10-step, *the Bossa Nova, *Country Swing, *the Samba, *West Coast Swing, and *the Rumba.
The “Dick Cunico's Little Big Band” is a six-piece ensemble that performs contemporary and standard swing, blues, rock, R&B, country, Dixieland, and Ballroom Dance Music. Band members include Brad Eastin (tenor sax), Chris Wojtecki (alto sax), Chris Walters (trumpet), Louise Wilson (trombone), Phil Schwartz (guitar/vocals), and Dick Cunico (drums/vocals).
The group’s colorful musical arrangements feature every member of this versatile ensemble. The resulting sound is a unique and robust expression of an American original art form as well as high class cover material--dance music at its finest.
Dick Cunico has performed and/or recorded with many jazz greats including Howard Levy (Bela Fleck), Eric Marienthal (Chick Corea), Steve Bailey (Dizzy Gillespie & The Rippingtons), and Skitch Henderson (NBC Orchestra). He has also performed in The Beverly Hillbillies Movie, The Thing Called Love, When a Man Loves a Women, Brain Donors, Burke’s Law, and Thirty Something.
