Do you love the blues? Do you love playing the blues? Either way, you’re going to want to come over to Stargazers for the
Pikes Peak Blues Community's Bunker Jam and membership drive.
The musical get-together is hosted by the Bunker Jam Band, which will do a few tunes for sound check, and then the jam will begin! Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of age or musical ability (how else are you going to learn?). The audience is encouraged to hoot, holler, and dance.
The Bunker Jam Band originated from a series of jams and parties that were held over many years in a Colorado Springs basement called The Bunker, named after Bob's Country Bunker—the western bar in the Blues Brothers movie. Many players from the local music scene would come to The Bunker, as well as those from basements and garages around the region. They all helped to create some very magical moments.
Come and help the Pikes Peak Blues Community and Stargazers keep the spirit of the Bunker Jams alive! Some magical moments are sure to happen that can't be duplicated.
