Local acts come together for one great show. They'll perform their original music and hang out with you before and after sets. Don't miss this chance to connect with local musicians.

Thanks to a collaboration with KRCC, COPPeR, the Gazette, the Independent, Independent Records, Bristol Brewing Company and the Pikes Peak Center, the Showcase at Studio Bee will feature some of the best in local musical talent performing original music. All artists included in the Showcase are homegrown talent from El Paso, Teller, Pueblo counties and have produced an album and write their own music. All Showcase at Studio Bee performances are free and open to the public. Concessions and a cash bar will be available.

They write and perform original songs that create a unique blend of acoustic and electric sounds with intricate three-part harmonies, anchored by tasteful drumming. Their latest release, Terra In-cognita, provides twelve unique tracks that invoke their multi-layered indie-folk-pop roots.
While the group was founded in the summer of 2009, the members of Burn the Maps have many years of experience performing all sorts of music including pop, rock, folk, Americana, bluegrass, jazz, blues, classical, and even opera.Burn the Maps are inspired by artists such as The Swell Season, Death Cab for Cutie, Ingrid Michaelson, The Frames, Coldplay, U2, Bon Iver, Wilco, R.E.M., The Old 97s, Radiohead, Nickel Creek, The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, and many more.

About Radio London <http://www.reverbnation.com/radiolondon> : The Radio London Band has been rockin' Colorado since 1994. The band has opened for Jefferson Starship, E.L.O., The Marshall Tucker Band, Canned Heat, Head East and more. Radio London just released their 2nd CD, with the help and participation of all the new and original players. Titled “Let There Be Life”. Founding member, leader of the band, serious songwriter and drummer extraordinaire: Joey McGarry is at the helm. Singer/songwriter; Fairlight 7 Jruhmz (pronounced drumz) is our new lead vocalist and amazing Front Woman. She puts her whole heart and soul into the show. Danny Read is still rockin’ that base with the beat that keeps us solid. Scott Harrison, our outstanding lead guitarist, puts his dynamics to work and is a wonder to watch. His original licks and tuning round out the on stage performance of The Radio London Band. Justin Fischer is our sound engineer and computer wizard. Without his help, the CD wouldn’t be.

About Falcon: Falcon is a Contemporary Folk Band that mixes elements of Blues, Jazz, Country, and Gospel to flavor original music compositions. Falcon’s lead singer/guitarist, John Austin Jr., performs regularly with the Band’s bassist, Billy Grimes, as the Evangelical Music Director for the United States Air Force Academy base chapel, in Colorado Springs. John is also a first year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Master of Science in Legal Administration program. Falcon’s keyboard player, Barry Laluna, bassists Billy Grimes, and drummer Larry Rice perform regularly in the Colorado Springs, and Denver area. Falcon, although recently formed, has over 60 years of professional music performance among its members. It is Falcon’s hope that performing for the Studio B showcase will highlight the band’s musical versatility, and the technical virtuosity of its members.
