Local musician Michael Clark (most recently of Youtube-bike-riding-fame) is releasing his much awaited new album, “Bound to Break,” at S.P.Q.R. Clark will be joined with special musical guest opener Brad Hoshaw, who hails from Omaha, Nebraska. Noel Anderson Black will also grace the gallery’s small stage with a reading of poetry from his new book.

But wait, you ask, where’s the Extravaganza you speak of? Well, we’ll tell you! Michael Clark, in a stroke of genius, asked eight artists to create works based on some of the songs on the new album, and those pieces will be on display the night of the show. Artists include Aaron Fanning, Heather Leech, Holly Garlow, Streeter Wright, Matt Barton, Jonas McCluggage, Mike Clark, and Kevin Ihle. Art! Music! Art based on music! Who could ask for anything more? Please join us for this amazing event!
