“Bless My Heart: A Very Nice Show with Cussing” with Kristina Hall. Opening performance by local poet and storyteller Phil Ginsburg.

In her latest solo performance, Kristina Hall weaves hilarious personal stories with keen observations and insight into a highly entertaining and whip-smart show. Firmly rooted in stand-up comedy, she shares her salty, irreverent perspective on parenthood, womanhood, and humanhood. This show is for everyone who is a person.

Kristina Hall is a writer and comedian. Originally from Colorado Springs, she began her stand-up career in 1986, spending thirteen years touring the US and Canada, performing in clubs, colleges, theaters and in nationally televised appearances. She now performs her solo show in intimate venues throughout the region. A single mom, she lives with her son in Evergreen, Colorado where she writes from home, stares at Elk and drinks a lot of coffee.

Phil Ginsburg is from NYC and has lived in Colorado Springs since 1990. He has been active in the Colorado Springs arts scene as an actor, writer, singer/composer and performance poet. Ginsburg recently wrote a short play called “Another Day in Polka-Topia,” which won the prize for the best play at the American Globe Theater in New York in May. He has two music CD's; a book entitled "Voices Beyond the Veil" and a spoken word CD "Obstructed Views." None of these materials is selling very well so he is planning several holdups at selected Loaf and Jug stores around town during the month of May. After that he plans to start a slam poetry group at the Four Mile Correctional Institution in Canon City.
