Kane’s eleventh CD release, Sister Vagabond was released on August 16, 2011 for the Delta Groove Label. Produced by Candye and her amazing guitarist Laura Chavez, Sister Vagabond promises to be as exciting as their last collaboration, Superhero, nominated for Best Contemporary Blues CD of the year. Audiences love seeing two curvy gals onstage together and Candye and Laura deliver the goods. With scorching, yet understated guitar work and empowering, healing and sometimes funny lyrics, Kane and Chavez are the feminist fireballs of the future.
“This is the third time we’ve brought in Candye and her band for a show, plus she appeared at Blues Under The Bridge in 2010” explains Amy Whitesell of A Music Company Inc., promoter of the show. “She always is entertaining and has developed a strong fan base in the Pikes Peak region.”
Opening act is Big Jim Adam & John Stilwagen.
