    Historical Personalities of the Air Force Academy Area

    Join the Palmer Lake Historical Society for a fascinating and informative evening as local historian Jack Anthony updates us on several sites he's explored this year on the present day location of the US Air Force Academy. Jack will relate the stories of the pioneers who settled in these areas and will also show some segments of the documentary "USAFA's Long Ago History," where he takes viewers to several locations on the Academy...

    Join the Palmer Lake Historical Society for a fascinating and informative evening as local historian Jack Anthony updates us on several sites he's explored this year on the present day location of the US Air Force Academy. Jack will relate the stories of the pioneers who settled in these areas and will also show some segments of the documentary "USAFA's Long Ago History," where he takes viewers to several locations on the Academy to relive the past.

    Previously, Jack shared with us the many stories of the pioneers and communities that existed along the New Santa Fe Regional Trail. However, his current focus is more on the long ago history of the Academy campus. Several site explorations he conducted this year were supported by experts from the Palmer Lake Historical Society!

    Free refreshments will be served following the program.
