    The third-annual Special Olympics Colorado Polar Plunge in Colorado Springs is scheduled, and all proceeds benefit more than 11,000 Special Olympics athletes across the state. Participants must raise or pledge $85 ($50 for students and Special Olympics athletes) to take part and receive the official Polar Plunge t-shirt.
