Tom Taylor and The Needlewood Orchestra

Tom Taylor is an internationally known guitarist, composer, and recording artist who plays a hybrid of jazz, classical, rock, and even a dash of blues and bluegrass.

His music crosses the boundaries between jazz and classical. Using techniques developed by the masters over the last 700 years, Taylor creates fresh, accessible, tonal music that has a timeless yet contemporary sound.
Tom, a Colorado College (CC) instructor of jazz guitar, will be joined by the Needlewood Orchestra: Phil Allen, valve trombone; Marc Neihof, CC instructor of electric bass guitar; Mark Rose, saxophones and woodwinds; and Lisa Smith, horn.
