Earlier this year, Joe Uveges was voted Best Solo Musician by readers of The Gazette. He started as a mainstream folk singer and is known as a “superb singer/guitarist/songwriter.” Joe released a collaborative country CD with Stephanie Pauline titled When the Smoke Clears at Stargazers in September. He has previously released six other CDs.
Jeremy Facknitz is a guitar player, singer, and songwriter from Manitou Springs whose music has loads of the catchy melodies and rhythmic drive that powers the popular music scene today. But what really sets Jeremy apart is his incredibly original lyricism and sense of humor, blended with his own folky, feel-good style.
Lindsay Weidmann began her musical fermentation at Colorado College with a BA in music, and since they don't have a zither program, her primary instrument became Voice. With study and training in the genres of Opera, Musical Theater and Jazz, there is little of Lindsay's vocal range and style that hasn't been explored or mastered. She began writing and performing her own music after college.
Mary D’Ambra sings with a passion and enthusiasm that allows her to connect with her audience; her performances are both intimate and upbeat. Mary’s repertoire includes both original songs and covers
