Add Review/Comment
On the eve of the winter solstice, you’ll be transported back in time with an acoustic mixture of Celtic, medieval, Renaissance and ancient holiday music.
Wayne Hammerstadt (acoustic guitar), Cynthia Robinson (violin, keyboards), Eric Early (guitar, percussion) and Marc Neihof will be setting the mood for this concert that coincides with the return of the sun to our hemisphere. With 20 years of professional experience, Wayne Hammerstadt has dedicated his life to the guitar, both electric and acoustic. His deep love for music has created a unique approach to his artistry, which encompasses many styles including rock, blues, jazz, Americana, classical, world music, ancient, and experimental forms. Cynthia Robinson, an instrumental music teacher at Fountain Valley School, has played first violin with the Colorado Springs Symphony/Philharmonic since 1980. She also loves being the violinist for musicals at the Fine Arts Center with her jazz buddies in the pit band. Cynthia performs with Hausmusik String Quartet, and she and Wayne play gypsy jazz, Celtic, medieval, and classic rock favorites at local establishments and private parties.
