"Inquiry with Zen Texts"
February 1, 2012
Add Review/Comment
Two local Buddhist teachers will present a contemplative conversation based on some short classical texts from the Zen Buddhist traditions of China and Japan. We will read and discuss koan texts and more conventional yet rich spiritual writings. Explore different ways to read Zen texts that invite deep inquiry into the great matters of life and death with grace and even humor.
Sarah Bender, Sensei of the Springs Mountain Sangha, and David Gardiner, professor in the religion department of Colorado College, will present.
