Moving between scruffy alt-country and a twitter of bluegrass, lead singer Blake Christiana mines his heavy Americana sound from lyrics shaped by the genteel sincerity of Gram Parsons. His band follows suite, pairing Christiana's lo-fi hooks with articulate string accents.”

    As a surprise hit at the 2011 MeadowGrass Music festival,this six-piece New York band turned the festival into a raucous roadhouse on Saturday night, as it exploded with rock 'n' roll, gospel, country, Celtic and more.

    A Music Company Inc. brought Yarn to the Ancient Mariner last November. Fans will now get a chance to see them "up close and personal" once again. Click here for a chance to win tickets.
