The Japan America Society of Southern Colorado (JASSC) will celebrate "Kodomo-no-Hi" (Japanese Children's Day - a day to honor and celebrate all children) on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 with a fun-filled festival that will include many hands-on traditional Japanese activities and craft-making such as origami, calligraphy, koto musical instrument playing, and carp making. Volunteer teachers will coach children in making the craft items....
