Emulating the vocals of Fogerty and his distinct guitar work, (performed by Pat Keiner) however, is only part of what made CCR so powerful and extraordinary. Having the right players to pull off the Hall of Fame rhythm section is just as important! Complimented by the solid and powerful drumming of Joe Kunkel performing the historic drumming backbone of Doug “Cosmo” Clifford is equally significant. Bassist Mike McKeehan from Cincinatti, Ohio tackles the other half of the rhythm section playing the legendary Stu Cook bass parts.
