    50 Years of Art

    An exhibit of 50 years of art by Pegi Ballenger.

    The Eichman Gallery at Park State Bank in Woodland Park, Colorado will exhibit illustrations and paintings of Pegi Ballenger.

    The public is welcome to the Opening Reception to see the early works to the current works of this accomplished Colorado artist.

    The Eichman Gallery at Park State Bank in Woodland Park, Colorado will exhibit illustrations and paintings of Pegi Ballenger.

    The public is welcome to the Opening Reception to see the early works to the current works of this accomplished Colorado artist.

    Pegi Ballenger was born in Houston, TX and graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from Newcomb College of Tulane University. She later studied radio and television, commercial art, and computer graphics. She has worked as a copywriter and continuity director for a CBS affiliate, as an advertising director, and graphic art director. Pegi freelances as an artist, illustrator, and graphic artist, and teaches art classes to adults and children. She is a founding member of the Pikes Peak Pastel Society, a member of the Pikes Peak Plein Air Painters, and has been a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). An award-winning pastelist, she has illustrated two children’s books, “A Mouse in the Rabbi’s Study,” published by Song Sparrow Press in 2008, and “Kat’s Magic Bubble,” published by Savage Press in 2007.

    Opening Reception on Friday, July 13 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    Visit the exhibit Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. - Noon.
