This retrospective exhibition of works by Carrie Ann Baade, features affordable prints for the purpose of raising proceeds for the Ranger Legacy Fund. Meet Carrie Vaughn, her first book, Kitty and the Midnight Hour, launched a popular series of novels about a werewolf named Kitty who hosts a talk-radio advice show. She is also the author of Voices of Dragons, her debut novel for teen readers. Ms. Vaughn graduated from L.P.H.S in 1991.

Carrie Ann Baade’s surreal oil paintings are allegorical narratives inspired by literature and art history. Baade is an internationally exhibiting artist who grew up in Monument, Colorado. In 1992, she was the recipient of the Palmer Lake Art Group Scholarship that later assisted her in attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently lives and works in Tallahassee where she is an Assistant Professor.

RLF was developed by alumni and graduates of the Lewis-Palmer High School class of 1992 as a way to give back to the School District
that helped to shape, mold, and provide the many opportunities to grow into successful, productive members of society.

This reception is a fundraiser for the 20x20. The Ranger Legacy Fund and Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts are proud to welcome renowned artist and Class of 1992 graduate Carrie Ann Baade in an exclusive exhibition of her work, proceeds go to the current students of Lewis Palmer through the LP20x20 initiative!
