“Conversation with Queen Palmer and Helen Hunt Jackson: Dispelling the Myths”

Many people if they remember Helen Hunt Jackson, remember the 1884 romance novel Ramona. The memories of Queen Palmer are of a woman who left her husband to go to England. While both are true, they are far from the complete story. Both women were here in the early days, they knew each other and were so much more than what most history will tell us. This reenactment with Queen and Helen will be held at the Old Colorado City History...
